Candida Albicans is a type of yeast that lives naturally within the body and in a healthy individual the Candida Albicans yeast is kept in check by the many healthy bacteria surrounding it in the system.
Anti-biotics, birth control pills, chemotherapy, poor diet, and other things can rid your body of the bacteria it needs to maintain a healthy yeast level. Without these bacteria yeast can overpopulate causing yeast overgrowth which has been known to lead to symptoms including, headaches, joint aches, depression, recurring yeast infections, bowel issues, constipation, bloating etc…
Yeast overgrowth is often not diagnosed and instead the symptoms are treated which never really solves the yeast problem. I would be interested in comments about yeast overgrowth related symptoms or side effects. What did you do to solve the problem?
